The mother of Cristiano Ronaldo's son is a penniless American waitress who became pregnant after a one-night stand.It was previously thought that the Portugal international had used a surrogate mother to have his baby.But the Sunday Mirror reported that his unexpected fatherhood was the result of a fling.

After he was slapped with a 10 million pound (RM49.42 million) paternity bill and learning that the baby was his, the newspaper said he told his friends, "I feel like Boris Becker" - a reference to the tennis star who fathered an illegitimate child after having sex once in a London restaurant - an indiscretion which cost him 20 million pound and his marriage.Apparently, Ronaldo approached the woman at a Los Angeles restaurant with a crude chat-up which she could not understand.
So Ronaldo resorted to drawing a love heart on a misted-up window near his table and said: "Me, you, kiss!"He then whisked her back to his hotel for a night and the next thing he knew, he was a father.
He used his best friend to help broker an exclusive paternity deal in New York, supervised by his mother Dolores Aveiro, to bring the baby back to Portugal.Ronaldo has told friends he will not tell the boy, who has been named Cristiano Ronaldo Jr, the identity of his mother until his 18th birthday.
The waitress tracked the player down through his agent, Jorge Mendes, who relayed the news to Ronaldo.
It was agreed that the player would give DNA for a paternity test once the baby was born and provide support for the mother and child if it was his.

The friend told the Sunday Mirror: "Cristiano was told the result while he was away at the World Cup."
