HOTEL staff had to find a RHINO for a birthday gift, propose for nervous men and lend their trousers to guests, a list of bizarre requests revealed today. 

Hotel bosses compiled the list after calling on staff at their 580 UK hotels to reveal the craziest demands from guests in the past year. 
The most outlandish request came from a guest in Chester who asked a member of staff to find out "where he could buy a rhino" as a birthday present for a friend.

Marriage

While one visitor in Bournemouth, Dorset, asked a member of reception staff to "propose to his girlfriend" for him after he got "too nervous". 
The worker got down on bended knee for the worried Romeo and, after explaining what he was doing, the woman accepted the guest's offer of marriage.
A staff member also told how one wealthy client in Macclesfield, Cheshire, asked a member of staff to sit in their Ferrari while they had dinner in the hotel restaurant so it didn't get stolen. 
Other odd requests included a lodger in Godstone, Surrey, who asked a worker to get her a giant rubber duck for his bath, and a guest in Liverpool who asked an employee if he could borrow their trousers to attend an important meeting after splitting his strides.

Boss of Premier Inn — who conducted the survey — Steve Conway said that of the 15million guests who stayed at the hotel chain in the past 12 months these were the "oddest requests", but said they were all "fulfilled" by staff.
He said: "Here at Premier Inn, our team members are always willing to go the extra mile, but even we were surprised at some of the things that have been asked."
