'I am truly sorry': Pope Benedict apologises for decades of child abuse in Irish Catholic Church

အိုင္ယာလန္ဘုန္းႀကီးေတြ လုပ္ရပ္အတြက္ ပုပ္ရဟန္းမင္း ေတာင္းပန္

 ၿဖစ္ခဲ ့သမွ်အားလံုးအတြက္ တစ္ကယ္ပဲစိတ္မေကာင္းပါဘူး....

ဘုန္းႀကီးေတြက ကေလးေတြအေပၚ လိင္ကိစၥ မေတာ္မတရားျပဳခဲ့တာနဲ႔ ပတ္သက္ၿပီး ပုပ္ရဟန္းမင္းၾကီး ဘင္န္နဲဒစ္ (Benedict) က အိုင္ယာလန္ႏုိင္ငံက ကက္သလစ္ ဘာသာ၀င္ေတြကို ေတာင္းပန္လိုက္ပါတယ္။ ဒီကိစၥနဲ႔ ပတ္သက္လို႔ ပထမဆံုး ေပးစာတစ္ေစာင္ကို ပုပ္ရဟန္းမင္းႀကီးက ထုတ္ျပန္ရာမွာ ခုလို ေျပာခဲ့တာပါ။ 

စေနေန႔ကထုတ္ျပန္ခဲ့ၿပီး အဲဒီ ခုနစ္မ်က္ႏွာရွိတဲ့စာထဲမွာ အိုင္ယာလန္ႏုိင္ငံက မ်ိဳးဆက္ခ်ီခဲ့တဲ့ ကက္သလစ္ဘာသာ၀င္ေတြ စိတ္ဒုကၡနဲ႔ အရွက္ခံစားခဲ့ရတာကို ပုပ္ရဟန္းမင္းႀကီးက ေဖာ္ျပထားပါတယ္။ "ဘုန္းႀကီး တကယ္ပဲ ၀မ္းနည္းပါတယ္" လို႔ စာထဲမွာ ပုပ္ရဟန္းမင္းႀကီးက ဆိုထားပါတယ္။

ခရစ္ယန္ဘုရားေက်ာင္း ေက်ာင္းထုိင္ဘုန္းေတာ္ႀကီးေတြဟာ မေတာ္မတရားလုပ္ခဲ့တဲ့ ကိစၥနဲ႔ပတ္သက္ၿပီး အမွားေတြ လုပ္ခဲ့ၾကတယ္လို႔ သူက ဆုိပါတယ္။ အိုင္ယာလန္မွာ ရွိတဲ့ ကက္သလစ္ဘုရားေက်ာင္းေတြကို တရား၀င္ဌာနခ်ဳပ္ကေန စံုစမ္းစစ္ေဆးမွာ ျဖစ္တယ္လို႔ ေၾကညာပါတယ္။ 

ပုပ္ရဟန္းမင္းႀကီးက ဗာတီကန္ဌာနခ်ဳပ္မွာ တာ၀န္ရွိေၾကာင္း ၀န္မခံခဲ့သလို မေတာ္မတရားလုပ္တဲ့ ဘုန္းႀကီးေတြကို ဘယ္လို အျပစ္ေပးတယ္ဆိုတာကိုပါ တိတိက်က် မေဖာ္ျပခဲ့တဲ့အတြက္ မေတာ္မတရား အလုပ္ခံရသူေတြက စိတ္ပ်က္ၾကတဲ့အေၾကာင္း ေျပာပါတယ္။

The Pope issued a formal apology yesterday to victims of child abuse by Irish Roman Catholic clergy, saying he was 'truly sorry' for their decades of suffering.

Benedict XVI rebuked Irish bishops for 'grave errors of judgment' in their handling of the scandal and ordered an investigation into the Irish Church.
But the Pope did not admit any Vatican responsibility for a cover-up.
Nor did he spell out specific punishments for bishops accused of concealing years of abuse by priests and nuns.
The Pope's apology will have a strong resonance in other countries where similar highly damaging clerical abuse scandals have surfaced, including his native Germany.
